These painted statues are of prince Rahotep and his wife Nofret. When the workmen open the tomb they ran away as they thought the statues were alive. Their eyes are made of quartz and rock crystal which gives them a life like appearence.
This palette was an early from of papyrus. this is a ceremonial palette from Hierakonopis.
The heratic pharaoh of the eighteenth dynasty. At the begining of his reign he declared that their was only one god, the Aten. He moved the ancient capital to armana in the middle of the desert. He is the husband of the famous Nefertiti, and is thought to be the father of the famous Tutankhamun. His reign lasted 17 years.
The famous mask of the pharaoh Tutankhamun. He became pharaoh at the age of only eleven (some think nine, but nobody seems to agree on an age). After he bacame pharaoh he changed the religion back to that of the old days. He also changed his name from Tutankhaten to tutankhamun. he was thought to have been murdered by his vizer Aye (again nobody can agree on this point either).
